Solutions are measured in terms of solubility. Solubility refers to the maximum amount of solute that will dissolve in the solvent. When the maximum amount of solute has dissolved, the solution becomes saturated. In solving the solubility, two things must be known: the mass of the solute and the mass of the solution.
